Hosted by Melanoma Institute Australia, in partnership with St Vincent’s Lismore, our one-day meeting is designed to provide valuable insights from leading multidisciplinary melanoma experts through engaging presentations and interactive case discussions.
Develop your dermoscopy skills and deepen your understanding of dermatopathology in the morning session, then broaden your expertise with multidisciplinary melanoma management updates in the afternoon. The program is designed to be relevant for both primary and specialist care, and all health professionals are welcome to attend one or both sessions.

Afternoon Session (1.30pm to 5.00pm AEST)
- Surgical management of melanoma and interpretation of lymphoscintigraphy – A/Prof Alexander van Akkooi (Surgical Oncologist, Melanoma Institute Australia) and Dr David Ryan (General Surgeon, St Vincent’s Lismore)
- Updates in medical oncology – Dr Mark Flower (Medical Oncologist, St Vincent’s Lismore) and Dr Martin Tio (Medical Oncologist, The Tweed Hospital)
- Multidisciplinary management of melanoma: Case-study panel discussions – Led by Dr David Ryan and featuring all speakers
