Skin cancers, including melanomas and keratinocyte cancers, are exceedingly common in Australia. Diagnosing and treating these cancers places an increasing burden on health care services, both primary and specialist. The Australian Skin and Skin Cancer Research Centre (ASSC) is a joint initiative of The University of Queensland and the QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute, and aims to harness the combined strengths of these two institutions with world-leading teams of skin cancer researchers.
The Global Advances and Controversies in Skin Cancer 2021 conference is taking place in a hybrid format – in person and also online. The event will also be available online for up to three months.
