The role of whole body imaging and the opportunity for screeningI have rated this talk with regard to its clinical relevance to a skin cancer doctor. It's interesting to hear about the research level whole body imaging which will be invaluable for the development of artificial intelligence for melanoma diagnosis. It will be serving patients who attend hospital clinics very well. In the shorter term and broader scale view, many more patients would benefit from resourcing primary care practitioners, who diagnose and treat the vast majority of skin cancers, to standardise, share and use whole body imaging. Are there guidelines, data and software to help primary practitioners implement whole body imaging at even a basic level?
