Systemic therapies for advanced melanoma have historically yielded limited survival benefit; however, new drugs are providing improved outcomes across the disease course. In this presentation A/Prof Matteo Carlino and A/Prof Alexander Menzies discuss the recent advancements in targeted therapy and immunotherapy, including use in combination and in the adjuvant setting. These treatments are having profound effects on improving survival outcomes for patients.
